Meet the Piper Quilt Pattern
I’m so excited to introduce you to the newest pattern in the shop — the Piper Quilt! This one has been in the works for a little while, and I’m so happy to finally get to share it with you.

The Piper Quilt is a fun, beginner-friendly project that comes together quickly and is perfect for showing off your favorite fabrics. It’s fat eighth, fat quarter, and scrap-friendly, and it’s a great option whether you’re working from a curated bundle or pulling from your stash.

One of my favorite things about the Piper Quilt is how flexible it is — it looks amazing in a controlled palette (like warm/cool or black and white) but also shines in a full-on scrappy rainbow. The design uses half-square triangles in a bold, structured layout that still feels playful, and it’s constructed in vertical rows with long sashing strips. That makes it a satisfying sew whether you’re newer to quilting or looking for a fast project to help work through your fabric stash.
Here are the sizes included in the pattern:
-
Baby (39” x 54”)
-
Lap (63” x 72”)
-
Twin (75” x 90”)
-
Queen (99” x 108”)
-
King (111” x 108”)
The pattern also includes a coloring page so you can plan out your version, and I will be sharing lots of mockups later this week if you are looking for some inspo.

You can find the Piper Quilt Pattern right here in the shop — it’s available in both PDF and paper formats.
Quick note: There is one tiny correction needed for the paper quilt pattern. A couple of blocks are flipped the wrong way. This is corrected in the PDF pattern and you can find the correct diagram right here.
I can’t wait to see what you make with it. If you share your progress, be sure to tag me @kitchentablequilting and use the hashtag #thepiperquilt in your posts so I can see (and share) your beautiful work!
