Pattern of the Week - The Bonnie Quilt

This week's Pattern of the Week is the Bonnie Quilt! This pattern is a fun one because the simple block construction creates a much more complicated-looking design once everything comes together. It is a great pattern for playing with color and contrast, and there are lots of different directions you can take it depending on your fabric choices.

The Bonnie Quilt works especially well with fabric collections because you get to use lots of different prints, but it is also a great stash quilt. You can keep things coordinated, make it scrappy, or use the pattern as an excuse to pull together colors and fabrics that you might not normally combine.

For the mockups this week, I tried Bonnie with a bunch of different fabric styles and color palettes. I always love seeing how much a pattern changes depending on the fabrics, and Bonnie is especially fun because changing the contrast or where you use lighter and darker fabrics can really change the overall look of the quilt.
