Eleven Years of Blogging
This month marks 11 years since I started my blog. What started out as a way to share my projects as a new quilter has blossomed and changed over the years in ways that I could have never predicted. Several of my early blogging friends are still posting to their blogs (Debbie and Svetlana come to mind!) and lots of others have moved onto other things.
Even though a lot of bloggers have moved onto Instagram, I am continually grateful that I have continued to post (even when I sometimes don't feel like it) because I love the documentation of my progress over the years.
This past year, I moved my blog from Blogger to Shopify so that I could more easily integrate my shop, Instagram, and my blog into one space. This was not a quick process (I don't even want to think about how much of my sewing time I spent moving everything over) but has been great for helping me simplify things a little.
The photos in this post are from projects that I shared early in my quilting days. I didn't start playing around with my own designs until I had been quilting for a couple of years and I did quite a bit more bag and garment sewing early on.

I enjoy reading your blog posts and I am glad you didn’t stop and just do Instagram. Do you happen to know the pattern name of the bag that is shown in this blog? I like making tote bags. survivor972002@midco.net
