Year End Roundup - The Finished Quilts of 2025
This post is always a little overwhelming. While I always enjoy making quilts throughout the year, sometimes I look back on all of the projects and wonder if I have lost my mind! Looking back at these has reminded me that I need to get back to Quilt Roulette, so expect to see at least a few more of those projects pop up in 2026.

Even though it feels like a lot when everything is listed out in one place, this kind of roundup is one of my favorite ways to reflect on the year. Each quilt represents a different season, mood, or experiment — new patterns, old favorites, fabric pulls that worked beautifully, and a few that taught me important lessons.

So here it is: a look back at all of the quilts I finished in 2026. While I'm sure it would be reflective to write a few sentences about each project, I would rather be sewing! If you want to learn more about any of these quilts, click the link and read the original blog post.

A Few Things I Noticed This Year
Looking back at this list, a few patterns (pun intended) really stand out. I leaned heavily on familiar construction methods, mixed in more scraps, and gravitated toward calm, repeatable designs. I am definitely a big fan of a scrap quilt so expect to see lots more of that in the future.

Looking Ahead
Finishing this many quilts in one year is equal parts satisfying and humbling. I’m heading into the next year hoping to keep the pace joyful rather than frantic, make room for more playful projects like Quilt Roulette, and continue balancing new ideas with old favorites.

If you have a favorite from this list or made one of these quilts yourself, I’d love to hear about it. Thanks for quilting along with me this year!
