The Zoe Quilt - Trimming Your Quilt

The Zoe Quilt - Trimming Your Quilt

I know that sometimes trimming a quilt can be a little scary, so I wanted to give you some guidance for trimming your Zoe Quilt. Last week I was working on a baby size version of the pattern (I will share more about that soon!) and took an overhead video as I trimmed my quilt.

Before I basted the quilt, I did a rough trim around the edges and then trimmed more precisely after quilting. This is how I generally approach quilts like this because I feel like they are easier to trim after they have been quilted.

I hope you find this video helpful. If you have any questions about trimming your quilt, let me know!

In the instructions for the LAP quilt it states to cut 16 3"x WOF of the background. I did and now I am short two strips as further in the instructions it says fabric J/Background you need 2 of these sets…I only have enough BG to make one set…. ALSO in the 1/2 strips instructions you state that one of eh 3 1/2" strips will be leftover…what does that mean? Sorry but I’m a bit confused. Thank You
