If you guys ask for something, I promise I am listening — the new Mini Plaid-ish Tutorial not only has instructions for a scrappy version and fabric requirements for using yardage, it also has a separate download all about making a rainbow version.
These instructions also include fabric requirements and the rainbow quilt is fat quarter friendly! Yay! I made my rainbow quilt using AGF Pure Solids, but I know we all have our own favorite brand so the pattern also lists suggestions for colors to use if you prefer Kona Cotton, Moda Bella, or Cotton Couture Solids.
Now you can see why I ended up releasing this tutorial in May instead of March — I kept adding more things to it and then I had to make a rainbow sample. It just took a little longer.
I love the rainbow of AGF Pure Solids colors that I used for my quilt, but each fabric line offers something a little different so go with what you love!
