The Dylan Quilt Pattern Mockups
One of the things I always like to do when I release a new pattern is make a whole pile of mockups. It helps me see the pattern differently, and it is always a good reminder of how much fabric choice can change the feel of a quilt.
The Dylan Quilt Pattern is a really fun one to play with because the design has strong movement, but the fabric requirements are still very approachable. It works well with fat quarters, fat eighths, and scraps, so there are a lot of different directions you can take it.
For my samples, I made versions using Picnic Wovens, solids, and a rainbow of scraps. The mockups were a chance to try a few more fabric collections and see how the pattern looks with different levels of contrast, color, and scale. Some of them feel soft and subtle, some are bright and bold, and I think they all show something a little different about the pattern.

For any of the mockups where I used a colorful solid or basic that wasn't a print from the collection, I have listed the name of the fabric.
