Pattern of the Week - The Maggie Quilt

Pattern of the Week - The Maggie Quilt

When I designed the Maggie Quilt Pattern, I wanted something that felt calm and structured, but still had a lot of visual interest. The Maggie Quilt is made up of simple, repeatable blocks that come together to create a really pattern (and secondary pattern, depending on your fabric choices) across the quilt top.

The Maggie Quilt is especially fun if you like working with value and contrast. You can create a bold, high-contrast version that really highlights the pattern, or keep things softer with a more subtle palette. It also works beautifully with a mix of prints and solids — the design holds everything together without feeling busy.

If you’re looking for a quilt that has that familiar sawtooth star but with a little bit of exra oomph, the Maggie Quilt Pattern is a great option.
